Miguel Angel Cotto, the WBO Welterweight Champion is known for his skinhead getup during his fights. Little do we know the reason behind it.

Cotto, has problems with lice as a teenager. Known for inhabiting long-haired person, this was a major turn-off for the boxer, then in his early years of boxing.

The use of traditional medication like vinegar and coccnut oil didn’t work. Medicated shampoos were ineffective as well.

His solution to the problem? To get a razor and shave his hair. From that point onward, he never have problems with lice again.

Pound for Pound King Manny Pacquiao will sign an advertisement contract with Lamoiyan Corporation for his upcoming fight with WBO Welterweight Champ Miguel Cotto.

According to an insider, who refused to be named, Pacquiao will be wearing on his shorts the logo of Licealiz, a product of the company.

“This is a defining moment for our company.”, Mr Cecilio Pedro, Lamoiyan Corp. President said. “Like Manny, we will try to raise the Filipino Brand in the International Arena. Manny will be a good model for us for he symbolizes our company— facing great odds against bigger competition, but survive and prevail.”

“Together, we will fight against kuto (Lice), I mean Cotto. You know…” Pacquiao said.

“It is a very effective way of advertisement, for Manny’s fight will be viewed by Millions of Filipinos.”, Pedro added.

The price of the deal was undisclosed, but some insiders said it amounted for 20 Million Pesos.

Pacquiao donned the logos of a car battery and a cocoa brand in his previous fights.
